Add a course activity or resource

When preparing your course for use you will want to add some type of content: activities (interactive tools that usually require learners' participation) or course resources (typically passive content that a learner can read/access).
You can also control access to activities and resources using the restrict access feature or monitor course progress with activity completion.
To add an activity or resource to a course, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the course.
- Click Turn editing on. If you are using the Pathway course format, instead go to Administration > Course administration > Manage sections and activities.
- In the section you want to add the content to, click Add an activity or resource.
- Select the activity/resource type from the list, then Add.
- Configure the activity settings, then click Save and display or Save and return to course.
