Create a personal goal

Personal goals are created by a user or their manager. They are specific to the individual user and are only visible to the user, their manager, and Site Administrators. Personal goals not selected from an existing list, but are created on an ad hoc basis when they are required.

To create a personal goal for yourself, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Develop > Goals.
2. Click the Add personal goal button.
3. Complete the settings. 
4. Click Save changes if you are finished, or click Save changes and continue editing (this is useful if you want to immediately populate custom fields associated with the chosen goal type).

The new personal goal will appear in the Personal goals section of the Goals page.

To create a personal goal for a user in your team, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Develop > Team to see your team members.
2. Under a team member's name, click Goals.
3. Click the Add personal goal button.
4. Complete the settings.
5. Click Save changes if you are finished, or click Save changes and continue editing (this is useful if you want to immediately populate custom fields associated with the chosen goal type).
