Schedule statistics

You can set when you want your statistics to run by following these steps:

1. Navigate to Quick-access menu > Server > Scheduled tasks.
2. Click the cog icon () next to Background processing for statistics.
3. Using the Minute, Hour, Day, Month, and Day of the week fields, determine when you want your statistics to be processed.
4. Click Save changes.

It may be a good idea to set up your statistics processing to run for a maximum of one hour, starting one hour before your automatic course backups take place. This can minimise resource usage and subsequent impact on your users by ensuring that the tasks do not overlap.
