# Export HR import logs

When working with [HR import](/totara-20/docs/what-is-hr-import), you may need to save local copies of your imports to keep for your records.

You can export all of the displayed HR import results into a CSV, Excel, ODS, PDF landscape, or PDF portrait file by following these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > HR Import > HR Import Log.*
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
3. Select your preferred file type from the **Export as** dropdown menu.
4. Click **Export**.
