Please see [Using centralised notifications](/totara-20/docs/using-centralised-notifications) for details on using the modern notification system. You can also view our [Transitioning to new seminar notifications](/totara-20/docs/transitioning-to-new-seminar-notifications) guidance.  As with other HTML content, you can include multi-language content in [legacy seminar notifications](/totara-20/docs/setting-up-seminar-notifications) using span tags. For example, you could include French content using this format: ```markup French paragraph ``` For simple content you can easily include each different language in the appropriate span tags, for example: ```markup English paragraph 1 French paragraph 1 Dutch paragraph 1 ``` However, for more complex content comprising multiple paragraphs, bullet-point lists, or other formatting, the language tags will need to be contained within the structure tags (e.g.

tags for paragraphs). Here is an example of how to format a complex seminar notification in multiple languages: ```markup // Paragraph 1

English paragraph 1 French paragraph 1 Dutch paragraph 1

// Unordered list with 3 list items // Paragraph 2

English paragraph 2 French paragraph 2 Dutch paragraph 2
