# Move organisations in bulk

You can use bulk actions to move many organisation items from one parent item to another in one step.

To bulk move organisation items, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Organisations.*
2. Click **Manage organisations**.
3. Click the name of the organisation framework containing the items you need to move.
4. Select **Move** from the **Bulk actions** dropdown menu.
5. Select the organisations from the left-hand column you wish to move, then click **Add** to add them to the right-hand column (hold the **Ctrl** key to select multiple items).
6. Select the **Parent** position to which you wish to move the selected position items using the **Move selected positions to** dropdown menu.
7. Click **Move**.
8. A warning message is displayed, click **Yes** to confirm.

The selected organisation items will now sit under the new parent item in the hierarchy.
