# Inschrijven op een regel voor het monitoren van gebeurtenissen

Zodra één of meer regels voor het monitoren van [gebeurtenissen door jezelf of door iemand anders zijn gemaakt](/totara-20/docs/create-an-event-monitoring-rule), kun je je op die regels abonneren om automatisch een melding te krijgen wanneer ze worden geactiveerd.

1. Klik op je naam in de rechterbovenhoek.
2. Ga naar *Voorkeuren > Gebeurtenismonitoring.*
3. Selecteer de cursus of context waarvoor je je wil abonneren op een regel in het dropdownmenu **Selecteer een cursus**.
4. Selecteer de instantie(s) waarop je wil inschrijven in het dropdownmenu naast de gewenste regel in de tabel **Regels waarop** je kunt inschrijven.

Je zult nu die regel zien, voor die formulieren (en die cursus of context) die in de huidige abonnemententabel staan. In deze tabel kun je op het kruisicoontje (![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/thin_cross.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-01T09%3A49%3A56Z&se=2026-11-01T10%3A49%3A56Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=7IXnUyDL1IplKRrFrohI3MdqWI0gwgJS054ttpqfcT4%3D)) klikken om je af te melden van een regel.

Als systeembeheerder kun je je ook abonneren op regels door naar *het snelmenu te gaan > Server > Regels voor gebeurtenismonitoring te gaan* en op de link **Gebeurtenismonitoring** te klikken*.* Volg vanaf deze pagina stap 3 zoals hierboven beschreven.
