# Totara AirNotifier settings

If your users use a custom mobile app based on the [Totara Mobile app](/totara-20/docs/what-is-totara-mobile) source code, you will need to host your own AirNotifier server and [configure the message output plugin](/totara-20/docs/configure-message-output) as follows:

| **Setting** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| AirNotifier Server URL | Homepage URL of the AirNotifier server that is configured to send push notifications to your app. |
| AirNotifier App Name | The app name (app shortname in the AirNotifier interface) that holds the Firebase Cloud Messaging credentials for sending push notifications to your app. |
| AirNotifier App Code | The AirNotifier access key for your Totara instance. This must be created in the app named by the **App Name** setting, and have the following permissions: - Create token - Delete token - Send notification |
