Totara goal capabilities

When Totara goals are enabled, a number of capabilities will be granted to the Authenticated User and Staff Manager roles to allow them to manage their goals.
Capability | Description | Notes |
---|---|---|
Create/edit/delete own goal perform/goal:manageownpersonalgoals | Allows users to create, edit and delete their own Totara goals. | By default this capability is assigned to the Authenticated User role. |
Create/edit/delete a goal for another user perform/goal:managepersonalgoals | Allows users to create, edit and delete Totara goals for their direct reports. | By default this capability is assigned to the Staff Manager role. |
Set current value and/or status of own goal perform/goal:setownpersonalgoalprogress | Allows users to update the progress value and status of their Totara goals. | By default this capability is assigned to the Authenticated User role. |
Set current value and/or status of a goal for another user perform/goal:setpersonalgoalprogress | Allows users to update the progress value and status of their direct reports' Totara goals. | By default this capability is assigned to the Staff Manager role. |
View own goals perform/goal:viewownpersonalgoals | Allows users to view their own Totara goals. | By default this capability is assigned to the Authenticated User role. |
View goals for another user perform/goal:viewpersonalgoals | Allows users to view their direct reports' Totara goals. | By default this capability is assigned to the Staff Manager role. |
