AI goal assistant

This AI feature is built into the existing Goals feature in Perform.

Known as the AI goal assistant, this AI feature is an option presented to learners if they want additional support in crafting a well-structured goal following the ‘SMART’ goal format. The learner will be asked a series of open questions, and then the AI goal assistant will help to format this into a first draft of a well-structured goal.

How to use AI goal assistant

Learners can create new goals using the AI goal assistant from the Goals page by following these steps:

1. Go to Develop > Goals.

2. Click Create goal.

3. Select Create using AI.

4. Complete the following fields.

   • What do you want to achieve?

   • Why is this goal important to you or your role?

   • How will you know when you’ve achieved it?

5. Select Next to generate your SMART goal.

6. Once created, edit the goal if needed within the text editor.

7. Select Create and close to create the new goal and return to the Goals page, or Create and view to create and view the new goal.
