# Clone a dashboard

If you wish to create a new [dashboard](/totara-20/docs/what-is-a-dashboard) based on an existing dashboard then you can do this by cloning the existing dashboard. When you clone a dashboard all of its content will be recreated in the new dashboard, including any blocks that have been added to it, and any audience assignments.

To clone a dashboard, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Navigation > Dashboards* to view all dashboards.
2. 3. Click **Continue**.
