# Delete a resource

If you no longer require a [resource](/totara-20/docs/totara-engage-content-types), or you don't want it to be available to other users, you can delete it by following these steps:

1. Select the resource from either the library or catalogue.
2. Click the icon of three dots (![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/zB7PSDCJJIpmpR86ZqwkiY0SHC8w2nn-EI6mudmPxj7JV2JfwSrJhcr_N3_7D1FLRGeDnvjn9VXReETwQ7qoR8FFF7iaurlVXuwgTokOKEd7rbO2x9dExg6WuvLjQmC7qRAqofYo=s0)) on the information panel (you may need to first expand the panel).
3. Select **Delete**.
