# Edit an embedded report

If you wish to make changes to a [report](/totara-20/docs/what-are-reports) then there are two ways you can do this. Either click the **Edit this report** button in the top-right corner when viewing a report, or follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Reports > Manage embedded reports.*
2. Click the cog icon ( ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a007399b-031e-436b-999a-528240e16f58/Images/Documentation/cog.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-06T05%3A40%3A51Z&se=2026-11-06T06%3A40%3A51Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=cUq01St1T49NzN22T%2FXFMK01mGhjFfHWzWRWxl%2BxvgI%3D)) next to the report you wish to edit.
3. Make the desired changes.
4. Click **Save changes**.
