# Enable global report restrictions

Global report restrictions functionality is disabled by default. To enable global report restrictions, follow these steps:

1. Go to *Quick-access menu > Configure features > Shared services settings.*
2. Check the **Enable report restrictions** setting.
3. Click **Save changes**.

Enabling this feature can have a significant impact on performance.
