# Manage marking guides

If you have previously [created a marking guide](/totara-20/docs/create-a-marking-guide), you may later wish to edit or delete it.

1. Go to the assignment activity containing the marking guide.
2. Select **Advanced grading** in the assignment administration block.
3. Click **Edit the current form definition** to edit the marking guide, or click **Delete the currently defined form** to delete the marking guide.
4. If you selected **Delete the currently defined form**, you will need to click **Continue** to confirm that you want to delete the guide.
