# Share a marking guide

If you wish to share a [marking guide](/totara-20/docs/use-a-marking-guide) with other trainers so that they can also use it, follow these steps:

1. Go to the assignment activity that has the marking guide associated with it.
2. Select **Advanced** **grading** from the assignment administration block.
3. Click **Publish the form as a new template**.
4. You will then need to confirm you wish to make this marking guide available across the site.
