Access LinkedIn Learning courses

Once you have set up the LinkedIn Learning integration and imported some content, when learners view the catalogue (Find Learning) in Totara, they will now be able to view LinkedIn Learning content alongside your existing Totara content.

If you have configured it in the catalogue settings, learners can use the Provider filters to view only content from LinkedIn Learning, or only Internal Totara content. You can enable this filter as a Site Administrator by going to the Find learning > Configure catalogue > Filters, then add the Provider filter using the dropdown menu.

As with your Totara content, the learner experience will depend on your site's default enrolment settings and LinkedIn settings, as well the user's roles and permissions. Here's one example workflow for courses with guest enrolment and self enrolment:

1. Click on a LinkedIn Learning course in the catalogue.
2. If you are not already enrolled on the course, a banner will appear at the top of the course. Depending on how the course is configured, you may instead see an enrolment page before being able to view the course.
3. Click Enrol to enrol on the course.
4. Click the Launch button to open the course in a new window.
5. Log in to your LinkedIn Learning account to access the course.

Once you've enrolled on the course and started to work through it, the course will appear as In progress and you see a progress bar on the activity page. Note that you may need to refresh the activity page to see the updated progress bar. For single-activity courses, the same progress bar and completion percentage will appear for both the activity and course view.

Any LinkedIn Learning content learners complete will appear in their Record of Learning and any relevant reports, if you have enabled tracking.
