You may no longer want or need a badge and wish to disable it. This will prevent users accessing the badge, but allow the badge to remain on the site if you are not ready to delete it.
Disable a site badge
- Go to Quick-access menu > Badges.
- Click the open eye icon (
) alongside the badge you want to disable.
The badge will now be disabled and display a closed eye icon (
) alongside it.
Disable a course badge
- Go to the course containing the badge you wish to disable.
- From the Administration block go to Course administration > Badges > Manage badges.
- Click the open eye icon () alongside the badge you want to disable.
The badge will now be enabled and display a crossed-out eye icon () alongside it.
