Add a featured links block to the home page, profile pages or a course

You can add a featured links block in a few different places, including the home page, profile pages and course pages. 

  1. Go to the page on which you wish to add the Featured links block. 
  2. Turn editing on and select the plus icon () in the required block region.
  3. Select Featured links. 
  4. Within the Featured links block, click the Add tile button. 
  5. Configure the settings to your preferences.
  6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 as required.
  7. Click Save changes. 
When adding content to a tile you can add placeholders in the Description field. This allows you to include information about the user viewing the block, such as their name or institution. You can do this either by typing the [ key and selecting a placeholder from the list, or by entering the placeholder syntax.
