Customise the quick-access menu

If a user has the totara/core:editownquickaccessmenu capability, they will be able to customise their own quick-access menu and add/remove areas to which they have access. Users who do not have this capability but can access site administration functionality will only have access to the default quick-access menu.

To customise the quick-access menu, follow these steps:

  1. Click the cog icon () to open the quick-access menu.
  2. Click Menu settings.
  3. Use the up and down arrows () to change the order of the groups.
  4. Click the pencil icon () to rename a group. Change the text as required, then press Enter to confirm, or press Esc to cancel your changes.

There is no save button, so you can simply navigate away after making your changes. 

Use the Reset admin menu button in the top-right corner to reset the administration menu to the default configuration.
