Activity settings
When adding an H5P activity to a course, you can configure the following settings:

Display description on the course page | If this box is ticked, the description will appear on the course page just below the activity. | - |
Editor | From the Editor section you can select and configure the H5P content. See H5P's documentation for more information on configuring the available elements. You can also click Upload to select an H5P file to upload. | - |
| Display action bar and frame | Enable this setting to add a frame and action bar to the content. This action bar includes buttons to download or embed the H5P content, and you can optionally add a button to display the activity's copyright information using the Copyright button setting. | - |
| Copyright button | Enable this setting if you want the copyright button to be displayed on the action bar beneath the activity. This setting can only be enabled if Display action bar and frame is enabled. | - |
| Grade category | This setting controls the category in which this activity's grades are placed in the gradebook. | - |
| Grade to pass | This setting determines the minimum grade required to pass. The value is used in activity and course completion, and in the gradebook, where pass grades are highlighted in green and fail grades in red. | - |
| Maximum grade | This setting determines the highest possible grade for the activity. | - |

Plugin settings
You can configure the site-wide H5P plugin settings by going to Quick-access menu > Plugins > Activity modules > Manage activities, then clicking Settings next to H5P.

| Save content state | Enable this setting to automatically save the user's progress in H5P activities, allowing users to return to an in-progress activity and pick up where they left off. | - |
| Save content state frequency | If the Save content state setting is enabled, this setting determines how frequently (in seconds) the user's progress will be saved. | The default value is 30 seconds. |
| Contribute usage statistics | Enable this setting if you are willing to allow H5P to collect data from your site on how H5P is used to help improve functionality. | See H5P's guidance on the data that will be collected. |
| Display action bar and frame | Enable this setting if you want to allow users to add a frame and action bar to the content at the activity level. This action bar includes buttons to download or embed the H5P content, and you can optionally add a button to display the activity's copyright information using the Copyright button setting. | - |
| Allow download | Determine whether users are able to download H5P activities. Select from the following options:

| Enable LRS dependent content types | Enable this setting to allow the use of content types that require a Learning Record Store (LRS) to function, such as the Questionnaire content type. | - |
