What are assessment checklists?

Prev Next

An assessment checklist is a structured way to confirm whether an employee has completed specific steps or demonstrated required behaviours as part of a skill assessment. It turns assessment requirements into clear checklist items that selected raters can review and mark as complete. When the required number of items has been marked as complete, the learner is considered to have met that proficiency level.

Assessment checklists are configured at the skill level within a skills framework, and each proficiency level of a skill can have its own independent checklist. Checklists are added as a criteria-based achievement path.

Assessment checklists are best suited to skills that require observable evidence or confirmation from a specific person, rather than skills that can be automatically marked complete.
