The Requirements tab is where you define how a certification is structured and how learners move through it over time. It brings together the essential settings that control recertification behaviour, path configuration and learner progression into one place.
From this tab, you can:
Set the rules for how and when learners need to recertify.
Create one or more certification paths to define the sequence and the valid period of the certification path.
Manage how overdue learners are handled and whether extensions can be requested.
Control how learners progress through each certification cycle.
The Requirements tab is divided into two main areas:
Requirements: Used to build the learning structure by creating, sequencing and managing certification paths.
Recertification: Used to configure reference dates, reinstatement rules and extension request options.
All changes made in the Requirements tab directly affect how learners experience and complete their certification, so configuration should be completed before assigning learners.
